It wasn’t planned. I was walking along a quiet trail when a turquoise flash caught my eye. There, half-hidden among the branches, was the Motmot, as still as can be, watching me as much as I watched it. The vivid colors of its head and chest were enough to make me stop. I slowly raised my camera, careful not to break the moment… click.
